This spoon is made from sterling silver & a Peridot, shaped, cast, forged and patinated. (weight 12.5 grams)
These specimen was collected from my garden, a sail medic seed pod featuring a peridot in the centre.
Medicago scutellate is fast maturing and hard seeded snail medic suited to long term pasture or cropping rotation. It tolerates heavy grazing, has wide ranging resistance to insects and good tolerance of foliar diseases of medic.
